Portrait
Emotion in photography is so important because it makes the picture more than just a picture. It becomes a story. You can capture this well withFocusing on eyes especially.

Angles
Taking pictures at different angles is important because it gives the picture a different view of what's going on. It makes the picture more interesting then a straight on view would give.
Light Paintings
For light painting to work you need to have the camera at low ISO and very low shutter speed, as well as a dark environment so the picture doesn't get washed out. This allows the picture to be exposed for a very long time so you can see the light trails.

Golden Ratio/ISO
ISO is how sensitive the lens is to light. The higher the ISO the more light thats let in as well as the picture is more grainy. The lower the ISO the clearer the picture but also the darker the picture. The golden ratio is the Fibonacci sequence and applies to everything.

Fast Shutter Speed
Exposure- Its the composition of shutter speed, ISO, and aperture. Shutter speed determines how long and how much the shutter picks up light. ISO is hoe sensitive the lens is to the light being brought in. Aperture is how much of the photo is in focus whether its the back or the front.

Slow Shutter Speed
High Aperature- The higher the aperture the more of the photo is in focus. Two advantages of this is 1. You get to see more of the picture in focus, especially good for landscapes. 2. Adds a lot of light for a dark environment.

Rule of Thirds
I'm interested in taking photo class because it seems fun. I also wanted Malmstrom as a teacher but we all see how that went. I also want to learn how to take good pictures.
